About Us

We have been established since 1982 when Alan Hepple founded Alan Hepple (electrical) ltd and have maintained our specialist skills over the years and have grown to become one of the leading electrical contractors in the North East of England.

What we do

We are primarily an Electrical Contractor working within the construction industry but also carry out and handle a number of specialist services required in this field such as Fire Alarms, security and data systems.

In all types of electrical installations and buildings there is a requirement for everything to form a full electrical installation as follows:-

Switchgear and Distribution systems

Lighting Installations

Power distribution systems

Emergency lighting systems

Earthing systems

Fire alarm systems

Security alarm systems, CCTV Door access

Data cabling systems

Energy conservation

Testing and commissioning including PAT testing

Our Team

We have a dedicated workforce of people who have spent most of their working lives at Hepple engineering. Highly skilled individuals who have a dedication to carry out their duties to the highest levels of quality and excellence.

Our management team members include design engineers, estimators and contracts engineers who handle most of the commercial functioning of our business. Our accounts and administration department team are highly skilled and trained to ensure our companies management systems are maintained to the highest levels.

Our site operative teams have a varied scope of different skills to meet the challenges of building services installations including site foremen, approved electricians, electricians and electrician mates and apprentices. All site operatives are fully trained in all Health and Safety requirements and all other necessary qualifications to work on construction sites.

Health and Safety

At Hepple engineering we are dedicated to the health and safety of our employees and ensure that we meet all of the requirements of the Health and Safety at work act.

All of our employees have a legal duty to take reasonable care of their own health and safety and the health and safety of others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.

As such all of our operations employees including management undertake mandatory Health and Safety induction along with ISOH Management training for our supervisors and site management employees.
